ROOM 1 WHANAU CLASS!!!

Room 1 has been learning to make our writing more interesting by using compound sentences.

We wrote a description of our class using our new writing skill (compound sentences).

Jeffrey the butterfly

When you want to catch a butterfly you need to wait for it to fly on a branch or the ground. Then you sneak up on it like this (sneaky walking). Then you grab it softly with your hand and it will fly onto you and stick onto your finger. They cant fly very fast. But you need to let it go onto a flower so it can have more baby caterpillars. I hope this ones wing heals soon.

This is our blog we will be updating weekly with things like kids work, successes, questions, research etc.
I hope you enjoy using our blog as much as we will.
